New Year’s resolutions

January 12, 2014 by Carolyn Kraft 1 Comment

My awesome new yellow shoes

It’s a New Year and time for resolutions! Usually, I don’t make resolutions, but this year I really wanted to change a few of my habits for the better. And first and foremost that means more walking.

I spend a lot of time sitting in front of my computer and while that’s not going to change, I’m doing my best to fit walking into my daily schedule. To help me stay on track, I got the Zip fitbit and it’s working!

The fitbit tracks all your steps to help you get in 10,000 each day, which has allowed me to see how inactive I’ve been. It’s pretty hard to ignore that number on the screen.

And for extra incentive, Santa brought me some awesome new yellow walking shoes. With the shoes and fitbit, I have no excuses. Maybe I’ll walk to the beach…that would be about a 10 mile round trip, but boy would my fitbit be happy.

Good luck with your New Year’s resolutions everyone, we can do it!
