If you wish to understand more about what really happened during the Gulf oil spill, then I know just the lecture for you! On Friday, February 25th, at 7:30 p.m. Dr. Sean Anderson of California State University Channel Islands, will present his work on the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Anderson and his research team are studying the long-term movement and environmental impact of oil that lingers below the surface and on the bottom of the ocean.

The talk will be held in Cabrillo Marine Aquarium’s John M. Olguin Auditorium and the best part is that the lecture is FREE! However, space is limited so please call 310-548-7562 to reserve your seat or seats depending on how many people you’re bringing.

Cabrillo Marine Aquarium is located at 3720 Stephen M. White Drive in San Pedro. (There is a small fee for parking, so bring some cash, but it should cost less than 7 bucks.)

I am definitely going to attend this lecture, so if you go, I will see you there!
