Get to know the whales of the world

December 15, 2010 by Carolyn Kraft 3 Comments

Poster designed by: Uko Gorter

The American Cetacean Society (ACS) is selling an amazing poster depicting all the whales of the world! This poster is a great way to get a better grasp on all the whales, dolphins and porpoises out there. And it’s also a great gift for anyone in your life who is a whale, dolphin or porpoise fanatic!

This amazing poster was designed by artist extraordinaire Uko Gorter. He also designed the logo for the ACS conference and has done many other things. If you are curious to see more of his work, definitely check out his website at www.ukogorter.com.

For those of you still searching for last minute gifts for the holidays, visit the ACS website. There are all sorts of fun whale items, plus you will be supporting a great cause! ACS “protects whales, dolphins, porpoises, and their habitats through public education, research grants, and conservation actions.” A noble mission indeed.
